Two visits a year, nothing to think about
Our seasonal plan covers a spring opening and a fall close-down: fabric cleaning, hardware inspection, motor and sensor testing, lubrication, and winter covering. Plan members get priority scheduling and discounted parts on any repair found during the visit.

Questions we get every week
- How long does a custom awning take?
- Most retractable awnings are fabricated and installed within three to five weeks. Louvered pergolas typically run six to eight weeks depending on finish and engineering.
- Can awnings stay up through a Connecticut winter?
- Retractable awnings should be retracted and ideally covered for the season. Louvered pergolas and aluminum canopies are engineered to stay up year-round.
- Do you service awnings you did not install?
- Yes. We repair, re-cover, motorize, and clean most major brands, including units left behind by companies no longer in business.
- Do I need a permit?
- Retractable awnings usually do not require one; pergolas, permanent canopies, and commercial signage awnings often do. We handle the drawings and the town paperwork.
